How To Take Care of Your Skin While Traveling

Posted on December 03, 2016 by Jennifer Yen

With the holidays coming up, there is probably a huge chance that traveling is part of your plans. Even in the midst of crazy plans, we can't forget to take part in our skin routine. Here are some things to think about when traveling and how to best go about it for the sake of your precious skin.
Prep: Within the week prior to your trip, you should incorporate a hydrating and balancing face mask 1-2 times.  Try using the Blue Lotus + Seaweed Mask for the ultimate healthiest complexion.  This will ensure skin clarity for your trip, making you ready for any plans right when you land.  It is also important to keep skin hydrated in preparation for a long flight or drive.  Using an intense moisturizer like the Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer will help prevent skin from drying out, while also protecting you from UVA and UVB rays with SPF 30.

On the Way: Whether taking a plane, train or automobile, keep your essentials near.  Take the TSA approved Hello Winter Beauty kit with you for perfect on the go skincare. If you prefer an anti-aging route, we have the Ageless & Beautiful Jet Set Starter Kit just for you!  During the middle of long flights, it is important to refresh your skin with another round of moisturizer and prep the skin with SPF before you step off the plane. We love the BLUE LOTUS Balancing Moisturizer to rehydrate the skin after long hours in high altitudes  Sleeping during a flight will also allow the products to sink into the skin.

Our jet set #skincare sets are the perfect travel companion! 💖✈️

During Your Stay: Staying hydrated is very important so drinking water is a must.  When planning your trip, checking the weather of your destination will also indicate what products to bring.  Taking the BB Tinted Moist Cream will keep your skin hydrated and acts as a "one and done" solution when trying to stay on schedule during the trip.

Introducing Our New & Improved BB Tinted Moist Cream!

Posted on November 01, 2016 by Jennifer Yen

In the midst of fall with winter approaching, our skin will become overwhelmed by the harsh weather--appearing dry and dull.
Not to fear, because we have your back!  Meet an old favorite, reinvented: BB Tinted Moist Cream.
Our new & improved BB Tinted Moist Cream gives you the best of both worlds between a BB cream and tinted moisturizer.  The lightweight nourishing formula is now offered in 3 shades, that glide on with perfection creating a smooth surface.  Meanwhile, it also delivers age-defying ingredients and provides SPF 30 to combat against the sun's harmful rays--which still pass through the clouds on even the gloomiest of days.
To get the most out of your product, prep the skin with a gentle cleanser like the Blue Lotus 4-1 Cleansing Milk.  Then lock it in with the Blue Lotus Balancing Moisturizer and finish your look with the BB Tinted Moist Cream.  You can use it either alone or under your favorite foundation as a base.

How to Nourish Sensitive Skin after Summer

Posted on October 23, 2016 by Jennifer Yen

With the change in weather, our skin changes and this mean it’s time to change up our skincare routine.  After summer, our skin may be in need of extra nourishment due to overexposure to sun, heat and pollution.  Now that fall is here, our skin will start to feel drier.

Instead of using a drying soap-based cleanser, try a non-foaming, sulfate-free one. Our Pur~Delicate cleanser is a non-lathering, soap-free formula featuring Blue Lotus, Soy Milk and White Tea.  It will gently cleanse impurities, remove makeup and will leave skin silky soft in one simple step.

Boost your lightweight moisturizer with a skin nourishing serum. The summer sun damages and dries skin out, leading to faster aging.  After cleansing, apply Pur~Youth Preserve to help delay the aging process.  Then, moisturize with Pur~Moist to leave skin feeling soothed and soft.
