Jet Set Beauty: How to Save Your Skin on a Flight

Traveling is always fun. But, the stress of getting from point A to point B takes a toll on our skin.

The humidity inside of an airplane cabin can range from 10 to 20%, much lower than the typical indoor humidity ranging from 30 to 65%. So, it is important to stay hydrated during your flight. This low humidity also dehydrates your skin.

Before your flight, moisturize your skin with a serum and sunscreen so your skin is ready for the flight. Apply our Pur~Protect SPF 30 before your flight to protect from the sun- especially if you have a window seat! For serum, try our Pur~Youth Preserve, which will hydrate your skin and aid in anti-aging.

Pack your moisturizer with you! During the flight, re-apply your moisturizer to prevent your skin from drying out. Use Pur~Moist to make skin supple.

Don’t neglect your lips! The thin skin on your lips can easily dehydrate and crack. Apply Pur~Lip Comfort periodically during your flight in order to keep your pout plump!

And, lastly, avoid dehydrating drinks like soda- hydrate your body with water and it’ll show through your skin!
