Whether you're a golden state local or just visiting the grand city of Los Angeles, these team-picked favorites are an absolute must try for all of your Instagram-worthy foodie cravings.
Ashley:
This is such a fun place to go that has multiple food options. Great to go with a group of people so you can all try something new. Pasta Sisters- My LA food gem is Pasta Sisters! It's in Culver City and they make fresh pasta for like under $15. Must try! My favorite is their Tagliatelle pasta, but they are honestly all absolutely amazing. They have special dishes available on weekends too!
Kazu Nori (sushi)-
One of my favorite sushi spots in LA! It's a hand roll bar and all their fish is so fresh and just tastes amazing. Great for a date with your bestie or your boo but wouldn't recommend going with a large party because it's a small place.
Ichibankan (sushi - woodland hills)-
I love going here with my family of 6, so it's great for large groups. They have all different kinds of intricate rolls and all of their food tastes so good!!! My favorite is the more than albacore roll.
Ultimate IG Aesthetic and it's just such an LA vibe that I have to get myself to go here every weekend. Their drinks are pretty pricey, but it tastes so much better to me than starbucks because they're not as sugary.
This is not your average coffee shop. They have coffee cup stickers with different slogans and they're attached to a activewear clothing store. Plus everything is pink and super aesthetic - also great for Instagram photos!
Nicole:
The best Japanese BBQ! Food is a little pricey but wort it, perfect for special occasions and date nights!
Shunji -
1 michelin star Japanese restaurant. Their omakase is a must try! My favorite is their uni, which they imported all the way from Japan.
The first mazesoba(soupless dry ramen) in LA. This intersting concept sevres you a bowl of dry ramen with visible fresh ingredients that you can customize to your liking Mercado - I don't like Mexican food until I tried Mercado. Their guac is literally to die for. The ambiance is chill and their cocktails are delicious too.
The most hyped boba place currently, but really meets up to your expectations. Lines are usually long though, so get there early!
Catalina:
A little pricey, but it's totally worth it. I don't even order for myself here, I just say yes to anything the servers recommend and it is always amazing.
A Long Beach favorite, so if you're trying to go on the weekends you should expect to wait in line. I'm obsessed with their brussels sprouts appetizer.
I love Grand Central Market! For the complete DTLA experience, you can spend $1 to arrive on the street via Angel's Flight (the historic LA rail car). Whatever you're hungry for, I'm sure it's in Grand Central somewhere.
Jennifer:
A classic and has the best sushi and one of my favorite treats. 129 N La Cienega Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211 (310) 659-9639
Lately I've been ordering from Cali Dumpling Delivery, started to help people in the hospitality industry get back on their feet. What's better than getting authentic delicious Chinese dumplings delivered to your doorstep and supporting a great cause?
Daisy:
This pho place is amazing! Everytime I eat at this location it always makes me smile, nothing can beat the feeling of finishing a good bowl of pho. They also have the best Vietnamese Iced Coffee! Located at 10648 Balboa Blvd, Granada Hills, CA 91344 Phone: (818) 360-7500
Isabel:
I love eating at Tomomi Sushi https://tomomisushi.com/, the spicy garlic edamame and the hand rolls are top tier.
For coffee and pastries I love Holy Grounds Coffee and Tea, their Iced Cafe de Olla is so good with their coffee cake.
La Monarcha Bakery and Cafe is also so good! I still have to explore their menu more, but I love their guava pastries and unique lattes.
