Questions about purlisse products

 
1. Is purlisse suitable for very sensitive skin?

Yes, all purlisse products have been formulated with your sensitivities in mind, while also remaining an excellent choice for anyone (even those less sensitive) who wants to respect their skin with pure, safe ingredients. We use natural extracts at effective levels and avoid potentially harsh ingredients such as parabens, petrochemicals, propylene glycol, phthalates, and animal by-products. If you do suffer from a particular ingredient allergy, please carefully read through the ingredient list on each product. Our products are all tested against allergies and FDA-approved.

2. Are purlisse products safe for moms-to-be?

Yes, purlisse products are safe and effective for pregnant women. We understand that during your most beautiful time, you might feel not so beautiful. Women go through drastic hormonal changes while pregnant that can lead to skin problems—increased oiliness, sensitivity, dryness, and dreaded stretch marks. During pregnancy, certain skincare ingredients such as retinoid, parabens, and benzoyl peroxide should be completely avoided. Still others, such as alpha and beta hydroxyl acids and lactic acids, can cause adverse reactions and are not also ideal for use during this time. If you are pregnant, then we recommend for you to not use our Watermelon Energizing 2 Minute Polishing Peel. Fortunately, purlisse's remaining product collection is free of these harmful ingredients, making it completely safe to use while pregnant. Discovering the pure and natural ingredients in the entire purlisse collection will help relieve many common skin issues from which pregnant women suffer, making you feel pūrly beautiful again.

3. Can purlisse be used on children?

Yes, some purlisse products can be used on children. As a general rule, we recommend using as small amounts as possible on young children. purlisse products are free from harmful ingredients such as paraben preservative, petrochemicals, phthalates, animal ingredients or other potential irritants. If your child has any particular allergies or skin conditions, please first consult your GP or pharmacist.

4. Are purlisse products tested on animals?

No. Why would we? Our products are for people! Therefore, we do not conduct any testing of ingredients or products on animals. In addition, our products do not contain any animal ingredients.

5. Does purlisse have sample sizes I can purchase to try out?

We have travel samples that are available for purchase.  Signing up for our email list will give you a discount code on first-time purchases.

6. Is purlisse packaging recyclable?

Yes, our bottles and cartons are almost entirely recyclable. Our carton papers are from managed forests, and we use 100% Wind Energy when we print them.

7. Is purlisse organic?

No. purlisse skincare products are not organic. The only 100% organic products we offer is our purlisse organic BLUE LOTUS ~ White Tea.

pūrlisse's approach is to make Natural & Very Effective skin care products. By “Natural & Very Effective” we mean: using skin-safe, time-tested, effective, modern tech-based ingredients that are free from harmful ingredients that can cause skin irritation. We use nature’s great gifts to protect and preserve your skin health. We use the highest quality White Tea extracts from very high altitude mountaintops, so it naturally contains a high percentage of anti-oxidant and healing properties. We also use sea algae extracts from the ocean, various kinds of fruits, vegetables and flowers extracts as key ingredients.

As part of our aim to produce natural & very effective products, we believe that sourcing organic essential oils and plant oils wherever possible is worthwhile. We are in the process of developing new products in the very near future.

8. Can I have an allergic reaction when I use purlisse products?

Allergic reactions to purlisse products do not happen very often. Indeed, if you think you have suffered an allergic reaction, please stop using the product. It is possible that you are allergic some essential oils or other natural ingredients within our formulas. If you suspect you might have a sensitivity, we strongly recommend testing a small amount of product on the inside of your elbow. If you experience any redness or tingling you should stop using the product, return for a refund or exchange. For the return/exchange, please check our return policy.

9. Are purlisse products suitable for Vegans?

Yes, we do not use animal-by ingredients in our products. If a product is listed with 'Beeswax' in the ingredient list, we use synthetic beeswax instead. In addition, our products are cruelty free; in other words, they are not tested on animals. 

10. Does purlisse have any plans to develop new items?

Yes, we are planning to launch 3 new items that we will add to our current collection. Stay tuned. We will let you all know of the exciting news as it unfolds.

11. How can I return or exchange pūrlisse products purchased from purlisse.com?

We want you to order with confidence, so we guarantee your satisfaction. After receiving your order, if you are not completely satisfied, simply return the product within 30 days of receipt for a full refund.

*Note(s): We do not accept the return or exchange if you purchased from one of our vendors or retailers. Only for items purchased from purlisse.com.

How do I start a return?

  1. For customers returning products purchased through subscription, please reach out to support@purlisse.com for further assistance with your return.
  2. For customers returning non-subscription items, please visit happyreturns.com and follow the prompts to complete your return. Find a quick guide to the Happy Returns portal below, and please do not hesitate to contact us at support@purlisse.com with any questions or concerns.

Locate your order on Happy Returns by using your assigned 5-digit order number (found in your order confirmation, and shipping notice e-mails) and your zip code. If your item is eligible for return, you will be able to select it. If the returns window for your item has closed, you will not be able to select it.

When can I expect my refund?

Returns can take up to 10-15 days from the date shipped to arrive at the warehouse and can take up to 3 weeks from the date received to be processed. We'll send you an email once the returned item(s) have been received and another one confirming when your refund has been processed. If you've waited more than 3 weeks with no email from us, please contact us at support@purlisee.com.

 

For Exchanges:

ONLY COMPLEXION PRODUCTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR EXCHANGE via Purlisse.happyreturns.com (eligible items: Perfect Glow BB Cream SPF30, Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF30, & Youth Glow Vitamin C CC Cream). If you purchased the incorrect shade of any of our complexion products, you may choose to exchange for a different shade of that item by following the prompts.

12. Does purlisse ship internationally?

Yes, we ship outside of the United States. Please note that all customs and import duties including processing/brokerage fees are the responsibility of the international customer.

Currently, we sell limit sales to online in order to pass on the most savings to our customers.

14. Is my discount code eligible towards travel-sized items, subscription items and value kits?

No, all Purlisse discount codes can only be applied to full-sized items.
